About: Deluxe Savannahs Ray was our first stud when our cattery started. He is a big lover that enjoys hanging out on his shelf outside soaking up the rays and spending time with the ladies. He produces kittens that have very inky spots, and also has been known to produce Melanistic and Snow Savannahs in previous litters. He is the opposite of our other stud as he is very muscular and solid.

Kitten Wait List Deposit Agreement

Due to extremely high demand for our kittens recently, we have decided to start a waitlist. So many of you want a Rainier Savannah, and it makes my heart sing that you want to welcome one of our babies to your homes. Again, thank you so much for making my small business that is such a labor of love something that you want to be a part of.. There is nothing like a Rainier Savannah!

We honor our waiting list, so we operate on a first deposit, first-choice basis. We accept electronic money transfers in several forms, so just ask if you aren't sure. Kittens must be paid in full prior to leaving the cattery for their new homes as set forth in this Wait List Deposit Agreement.
The terms of this waiting list deposit agreement are as follows. Please read and understand each statement as well as filling out the bottom completely.
By submitting my waitlist deposit and completed form to Rainier Savannahs, I confirm the following:
- I understand that my waitlist deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE (the waitlist deposit). I understand that this policy is in place to ensure that I am fully committed to purchasing a kitten from Rainier Savannahs at some point in time and that my deposit will never expire, for as long as Rainier Savannahs is breeding. If Rainier Savannahs ceases breeding before I receive a kitten from them, my waitlist deposit will be returned to me.
- I have received prior approval from my landlord, roommates, spouse, or any other person who may potentially disallow or not be in favor of a Savannah cat living in my/our home. I do not foresee my living arrangements changing to a situation where I will not be allowed to have a Savannah Cat living in my home.
- I understand that if a kitten is not offered to me within one year of my waitlist deposit, my waitlist deposit may be refunded ONLY if I have refused other available kittens within that year. ("Refusal"= not responding to Rainier Savannahs email, direct messages whether by text or social media, kitten posts on Facebook or kittens posted as available on the website). If I have refused available kittens within a year of placing my waitlist deposit my deposit will not be returned to me. Instead, I may elect to forfeit my deposit and request to be removed from the waitlist email OR continue waiting on a kitten of my choice and retain my place on Rainier Savannahs' waiting list.
**Keep in mind that this is a draft contract, and terms are subject to change based on the individual animal being sold.**

The Buyer agrees to assume all responsibilities and expenses for the kitten after leaving Rainier Savannahs cattery.
It is recommended that the kitten be kept in a small room for the first 2 weeks, thus allowing the kitten to adjust to its new surroundings and bond with you. The kitten should have a bed, food, water, litter box and toys during this time. Small children should be monitored with the kitten at ALL times until they have learned how to handle them. Exposure to other household animals during the first 2 weeks will void health guarantee.
Subject Animal:
The subject animal is being sold as a PET only. Breeding rights will not be awarded. Buyer can show the kitten at TICA shows if desired. Seller does not guarantee the size of said kitten at maturity. Nor does Seller guarantee the final appearance of the animal with respect to color or spotting pattern.
Vaccinations:
Your kitten will already have been treated for internal parasites prior to leaving the cattery. Your kitten comes with all age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and a microchip. Treatment for parasites and vaccinations will be annotated on the vet record that will come with your kitten. Seller does not vaccinate with FELV (Feline Leukemia Vaccine) and/or FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). If you choose to vaccinate for Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), we recommend that you discuss this with your own veterinarian and consider the risks. Many breeders and veterinarians do not consider FELV and FIP vaccines to be safe. However, if there are special circumstances in your household, i.e; an indoor/outdoor cat that may expose your kitten to the disease or a cat already in the household that is positive for Feline Leukemia, vaccinating it for FELV (Feline Leukemia Vaccine) may be necessary and your veterinarian may recommend it. It is imperative that you have your veterinarian perform a complete blood panel for exposure to the diseases BEFORE you vaccinate your animal against either of them. Please note that administering either of these vaccines is against Seller’s policy and will nullify the entire health guarantee listed further down.
Anesthesia:
Said kitten should NEVER have ketamine as sedative for any procedure. Servals and Savannahs are highly sensitive to this medication and this warning is provided as a result of several known instances where Savannahs could not be awakened after surgery when administered Ketamine. Please warn your Veterinary Professional about the risks of Ketamine use and ask that he/she rely on a combination of Propofol along with either Isoflurane or Sevoflurane gas or Isoflurane gas with a pre-op valium-based cocktail.
Health Guarantee/Refund/Replacement Policy:
There shall be no refund of purchase price and any associated delivery costs.
We pride ourselves in raising healthy, vaccinated, parasite-free kittens. To the best of our knowledge, each of our cats/kittens leaves our cattery in good health. If the kitten is joining other animals in its new home, Buyer agrees to keep the kitten in quarantine for a two-week period.
The kitten is guaranteed against life threatening congenital and hereditary defects up to the age of one year. Buyer is recommended to have the kitten screened within 7-10 days of arrival to check for life threatening congenital and hereditary defects and to check overall health to verify the condition of the kitten. If a kitten needs to be returned, it will be replaced with a kitten of equal value after the seller’s veterinarian certifies the health deficiency. If another kitten/cat of equal value is not immediately available, buyer can apply amount of remitted purchase towards the acquisition of another animal of greater value at his/her discretion. Said replacement will be made as soon as a suitable replacement becomes available. Should the cat/kitten die within a year as a direct result of unknown (at the time of sale) congenital birth defect, the cat/kitten, said cat/kitten will be replaced only if an appropriate autopsy is performed by a licensed and board certified veterinarian and a veterinarian’s certificate is provided as proof of cause of death.
The Seller will not replace any cat or kitten that has not received adequate and appropriate care from its new owner. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to provide veterinary care (at the Buyer’s own expense) to any cat/kitten showing signs of illness or distress. Failure to do so will render any guarantee null and void. Veterinary records will be submitted to show proof of proper care.
Under no circumstances is a cat or kitten to be destroyed prior to notification by the Buyer to Seller. Any cat/kitten for which Buyer requests replacement must be returned to the Seller (at the Buyer’s expense) so that the identity of the kitten can be verified.
Buyer understands that adoption of said kitten identified herein, means that the Buyer agrees to undertake responsibility for future health maintenance of said kitten for the rest of the kitten’s natural lifetime just as if this kitten were a child adopted by the Buyer.
The Buyer assumes responsibility of all expenses incurred in relation to the kitten after said kitten leaves the possession of the Seller, as well as any expense incurred at the request of the Buyer before the kitten leaves the possession of the Seller. If the kitten is returned the seller for resale on behalf of the Buyer, the terms of this release will be agreed upon under a separate written agreement.
Advertising rights:
Seller reserves the right to use any photos of the purchased kitten in any and all advertising; including but not limited to internet website advertising in promotion of the Seller’s cattery. Buyer agrees to allow the Seller the right to use his/her cat/kitten’s photograph or name in future or existing advertising.
Periodic photographs of the cat/kitten will be provided to the Seller, at the discretion of the Seller, as proof of health and well-being.
Social Media Agreement:
Parties agree never to post derogatory comments about each other on social media for any reason whatsoever.
Parties agree to discuss any potential health issues of kittens with licensed veterinarians, their staff, and the breeder if the health issue falls into the health guarantee. This is a material term of the purchase agreement.
Venue:
If legal action is commenced by Buyer or Seller as a result of this contract, Buyer agrees that the place of venue for such action shall be in Pierce County in the state of Washington in the United States of America. Buyer assents to personal jurisdiction within such venue, regardless of their place of residence, and agrees that any judgement obtained is enforceable within the jurisdiction that they reside in as if obtained within that jurisdiction.
Facsimile Signatures
A facsimile of this signed agreement shall be enforceable as an original if the original contract is lost, destroyed, or otherwise unavailable.
By signing this document, Buyer understand that said kitten will require regular veterinary care to keep up with required vaccinations. Buyer agrees to provide this care. All vaccination information is attached to this agreement. Buyer also promises to provide the best nutritional and hygienic care that is possible. This agreement is effective immediately upon signing by both parties. This is a legally binding document to both the Buyer and the Seller and is not transferrable to other parties.
