About Rainier Savannahs
My name is Julie Laney, and I own and operate Rainier Savannahs, LLC. We have been breeding the beautiful Savannah cat in Rainier, Washington at the base of Mount Rainier since 2017. I am also the Vice President and a writing contributor Savannah Cat Association, which is a volunteer non-profit organization for responsible, ethical breeders like me who focus on educating the public as well as being concerned about the health and welfare of EVERY single kitten placed. The Savannah Cat Association is also a very big donator to the University of California at Davis active research on Feline Infectious Peritonitis, and is a wealth of knowledge on Savannah cats.

Our Cattery
Our cattery is a small, outdoor and in-home spacious area that is well suited to our kings and queens. Our home is nestled in the valleys of Mount Rainier. Its overwhelming silhouette inspires us daily to spread her beauty in cats. We strive to produce beautiful cats that are sweet and loving companions, and will never send home a cat to a family or owner that is not suitable and vetted prior to adoption. Our cats are monitored electronically 24/7, and have indoor as well as outdoor areas for exercise and stimulation. We do allow clients to visit the cattery after a deposit has been placed, and encourage our pet parents to come bond with their babies before they are able to take them home. We are in the process of constructing a huge outdoor enclosure (8 ft x 8 ft x 8ft) and are placing landscape artfully as well as bird and squirrel feeders for entertainment.
